Texas trial attorneys now have a new way to turn focused evidence practice into qualifying continuing legal education. The State Bar of Texas has accredited Objection Academy: Mastering Trial Objections for 2.75 general MCLE credit hours (0.00 ethics hours).

That approval matters because courtroom skill is not built by passive exposure alone. At a hearing or trial, the lawyer who recognizes the issue, calls the objection, and identifies the right foundation has to do it in the moment. Objection Academy is built around those moments: rapid-fire prompts that ask attorneys to spot the issue and commit to a response before the window closes.
What Texas attorneys can expect
The accredited course is Objection Academy: Mastering Trial Objections, completed through the Objection Academy app. Once an attorney enters MCLE mode, the app tracks a distinct timed completion path. The certificate and completion workflow collect the information needed for the credit record, including the attorney's name, bar number, jurisdiction, completion date, credit hours, and certificate ID.
Texas attorneys can receive 2.75 general MCLE credit hours after completing the applicable in-app requirements. The credit amount does not replace Texas reporting obligations. Attorneys should review the current eligibility details before beginning, complete the in-app MCLE path, and confirm credit through the State Bar of Texas MCLE system using course number 174317972.
Practice that transfers to the courtroom
The course focuses on recurring litigation problems: relevance and form, hearsay and exceptions, privilege, authentication, best evidence, expert testimony, and the foundations that determine whether proof comes in. Rather than presenting those topics as a passive catalog, Objection Academy asks attorneys to work through them in short, decision-oriented drills.
The goal is not to replace judgment or Texas-specific research. It is to make the basic analytical sequence more available when a witness answers, a document is offered, or opposing counsel moves faster than expected. Attorneys should always confirm the governing law and local procedure for the case in front of them.

Texas attorneys can select Texas in the app, enter their bar information, and use the MCLE completion path for the accredited course. The app keeps credit-eligible MCLE mode separate from casual practice so the completion record remains clear.
